Services: Executive Skills

From parent-dependent to self-sufficient

For 8th–11th Grade Students

If your teen's assignments seem to disappear into a black hole of missed notifications and too many open tabs — or if "due tomorrow" always means "do tomorrow" — you’re not alone. With constant distractions like TikTok, group chats, and Instagram, staying organized and focused feels harder than ever.

At FutureU, we help teens develop essential executive skills to thrive independently in school and life — without relying on constant reminders from Mom and Dad. Taught by licensed social workers, psychologists, and teachers, our sessions focus on:

  • Organization & Time Management: Creating practical systems (like calendars!) and actually sticking to them.
  • Study Skills & Self-Advocacy: Breaking down tasks, managing big projects, and knowing how to ask for help.
  • Procrastination-Proof Strategies: Tackling tasks head-on and staying on track.

Through relatable, hands-on coaching, we empower teens to stay focused, get organized, and build confidence to handle challenges on their own. Bonus: you get to save a few gray hairs along the way!

For Late High School and College Students

As teens approach adulthood, the stakes get higher. Whether preparing for college or navigating the adult world, FutureU helps students master the skills they need to succeed independently.

Our tailored sessions focus on advanced life skills like building resumes, acing interviews, self-advocacy, and managing responsibilities with confidence. We also reinforce the essentials — organization, time management, and task prioritization — so students can handle everything from final exams to balancing work and school.

Taught by licensed social workers, psychologists, and teachers, our approach goes beyond the basics. We prepare students for real-world challenges, from tackling internships to managing their own schedules — all in a supportive, practical, and even fun way.
